Starting Point is an opportunity to find out about all things New City. We spend time eating together, getting to know each other, asking questions and listening to what makes New City different. We will discuss our Vision, Mission and Values as well as introduce our staff. Please register so we have a count for lunch and childcare.

Please note that the Olathe location's time varies slightly. Their Starting Point will take place from 10:45am- 12:00pm.

Join us as we bring prayer to the City of Edgerton. On the 3rd Saturday of the month, we will be having Pop-Up Prayer events during the monthly Food Pantry distribution. Volunteer to come pray over those picking up food, our city, and our neighbors.

Students we are going to Winter Jam 2025! This is a $15 CASH general admission concert, with several christian artists. We will leave at 4:30pm from the Church and head to T-Mobile Center! Parents are welcome to join. Leaders and Parents if you are able and willing to drive students, that would help us carpool students there! We will be standing in line so dress warm. When we get inside there is food, drinks, and merch if you would like to purchase stuff on your own! 

Please register by Jan. 15th so we can make sure to have you a ride.

Students 6-12th grade, join us for the Student City Christmas Party on December 18th from 6-9 PM. Enjoy a festive evening featuring a Christmas disco-themed murder mystery, a white elephant gift exchange (please bring gifts valued at $10-$15), delicious appetizers and desserts, student testimonies, and a Christmas cookie contest. Don’t miss out on the fun and festivities!

Ladies, join us for our annual Christmas Movie Night! We'll gather in the sanctuary to watch a Christmas movie together, so bring a pillow or blanket if you want to get cozy. Wear your best/craziest Christmas outfit for a chance to win a prize! We'll provide festive snacks and drinks, and don't forget to invite a friend! Childcare will be provided with registration by Friday, December 6th.

New City has reserved the theatre to watch the Best Christmas Pageant Ever together! This is a great story that will go right along with our series starting in December called "Messy Christmas." This movie is directed by the same director as "The Chosen." We hope you can come along with family and friends to spend a night at the theatre having a fun night out!

Join us for an enchanting evening filled with creativity, laughter, and holiday cheer! You will enjoy a delightful Hot Cocoa Bar Station with toppings, light appetizers, and two craft stations with guided projects for all skill levels. You can bring a dozen cookies for exchange/share and friends to share holiday spirit and creativity! Please RSVP. There will be no childcare available that night.

Friends and neighbors, we would like to invite you to our Community Christmas Barn for some fun, fellowship, cookies, hot cocoa, and of course Santa and Mrs. Clause. We will have horse and wagon rides for kids plus a photo booth area. Don't worry about the cold, we will have a warm fire blazing. We hope you come and bring someone with you!

We will gather to discuss why baptism is important, answer any questions or concerns you may have, and share what to expect when you do get baptized. This class is lead by leaders of our Baptism team. There is no childcare available.

Let's bless the community around us through the giving of Thanksgiving meal kits! Join us as we deliver meals to families in our neighborhoods and pray with them. We connect with our community partners like project home, caring for kids, advice and aid and foster care agencies to find families in need this season and bless them. It's one of the best Sundays of the whole year, you won't want to miss it! Gather in the sanctuary after 2nd service to pray, get a meal kit and disperse.

Join us to support Kid City by helping us cut and prepare our August and September curriculum. Enjoy your favorite Sonic Drink and some fellowship as we work together to prepare for the upcoming kids activities! Anyone high school and older is welcome to join us!

Join us for a delicious event where members of our congregation showcase their culinary skills and share their favorite chili recipes. It's a wonderful opportunity to come together as a church family, enjoy great food, and create lasting memories.

Chili Tasting: Taste a variety of homemade chili recipes prepared with love and creativity by church members.

Judging: Vote for your favorite chili in categories such as Best Traditional Chili, Most Creative Recipe, and Spiciest Chili.

Let's open our driveways on Halloween for a safe place for friends, family, and neighbors to spend a fun night together! Hosting a Halloween Driveway Party can include a fire pit, hotdogs, candy, or hot chocolate for a fun idea to keep warm after a chilly night of trick-or-treating. New City will provide yard signs saying "This driveway hosted by New City," as well as candy or hot dogs for your driveway party (your choice between the two).

If hosting, your address will also be shared in New City Shawnee's Facebook community group as a "safe stop" for Halloween night. Please register your driveway online by October 18th so we know who is hosting! 

Join us for this community event to trunk-or-treat as well as enjoy a time with family and friends. Food will be provided as well as candy at the trunks. If you'd like to decorate a trunk or volunteer at this event, please register.

Free Food available for everyone on the fourth Saturday of every month! Distribution begins at 9:00 AM and runs till we are out of food (typically 10:30-11:00 AM). Arrive early and no ID required.

Come meet the new campus worship minister and enjoy an evening of fun and fellowship. The evening will be set around the fire pit. Tina will share stories and lead acoustic worship. All ages are welcome to attend. Bring your friends!
