Join us for a men's summer cookout! We will grill, fish (KS fishing license required), and fellowship. There is a 18 hole disc golf course near the Oak Shelter, but we will be at the Stone Wall Shelter which is near the boat dock. If you would like to bring your own folding chair, fishing pole/bait, and disc golf items, you can enjoy all that the park has to offer. Black Hoof Park is a 160-acre park with a 35-acre, deep-water lake. The park is located at 9053 Monticello Road (93rd St and Monticello). Black Hoof Park offers a unique dam and spillway, paved and natural trails, restrooms, and a boat launch for small, non-motorized boats (KS boating permit required, if applicable). Experience beautiful nature and observe the wide variety of wildlife – deer, coyotes, red foxes, birds, butterflies, rattlesnakes, frogs and lizards in their natural habitats. Shoreline and class 1 or smaller boat fishing is allowed with a Kansas State Fishing License.
