New City has reserved the theatre to watch the Best Christmas Pageant Ever together! This is a great story that will go right along with our series starting in December called "Messy Christmas." This movie is directed by the same director as "The Chosen." We hope you can come along with family and friends to spend a night at the theatre having a fun night out!

We are excited to take Prayer and Praise to the Park for our last one of 2024! Join us at Erfurt Park in Shawnee as we go out into the Community for a time of fun, prayer and worship. We will have drinks and games to hang out in the park at 5:00 PM before the service begins at 6:30 PM. Come, bring family, friends, and neighbors to come relax and spend time in the presence of God. Please bring your lawn chairs.

Join us for a night of prayer and worship as we gather as one church, many locations to be in the presence of the Lord. We will have a time of reflection and encouragement as we navigate what the Lord is calling us to do as we walk out our faith journey with him.

Join us for a fun evening where we gather together to support Kid City in both Edgerton and Olathe! We will prepare the June curriculum and supplies to alleviate the stress from our Kid City directors and teachers. We will have a potluck so please bring either your favorite dessert or side that you like with your BBQ. Pulled pork, buns, and drinks will be provided. 

Please register for this event on the app so we can gauge how much food is needed. 

As we enjoy our meal, we'll work side by side, cutting and preparing the curriculum materials for our young ones. It's the perfect blend of fellowship and service. High school and older is welcome to join us!

Parents! Have a fun night out without the kids! Drop your kids off at the church for a safe and fun evening doing crafts, games, a light supper, and a movie if time allows. Please register!

If you serve in Kid City - You don't want to miss the first of three workshops in 2024! This workshop will coincide with our Leadership Community in February. We will all attend the Leadership Community (Register for that here: https://mynewcity.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/2062427), and then will stay for the remainder of the workshop after. My hope is that each person that serves in Kid City will attend and will leave with new information, new ideas, and motivated and excited about serving the next generation!

Parents - treat yourself to a Valentines Day date, or enjoy some quiet time, while we provide a safe and fun environment for your kiddos! Kid's will enjoy pizza, games, crafts, and a movie ensuring smiles and laughter throughout the night. You can enjoy peace of mind that your children are being cared for and entertained. 

This is for children ages 3-12 who are able to use the restroom by themselves. Please register each child. Register by February 7.

Join us as we gather for a night of prayer and praise. Open to everyone. We will seek our King and His will as we pray through the battles we all are facing and lay it all at the feet of Jesus. We are excited to join as a church who prays for and encourages each other in our circumstances.

Join us this year as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus! We will look to our King for peace, comfort, joy, and strength this Holiday season as we hear the good news and sing Christmas songs. We hope you will invite someone with you and join us for one of our services at 3:00 or 5:00 PM.

Please join us for a fun afternoon Harvest Festival from 3:00-4:30. There will be games and activities for all ages, as well as the police "roll car". We will also have free hotdogs and chips until supplies run out. At 4:45 trunks will be opened for Trunk- or-Treating to close the evening. TRUNKS WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL 4:45 so all our Team members can enjoy the festivities. Bring a lawn chair with you for the festival as we will have limited seating **The entire event is outside weather permitting. The event will move inside if we have inclement weather**

Come and join us for our neighborhood Trunk-or-Treat free event! It will be a great time for the neighborhood to come together, play games, gather candy, enjoy food, hot cider, win prizes, and much more! Plus we'll be having a costume contest at 5:00! Can't wait to see you there!

The New City Church KCK Food Pantry is available for anyone in the community. Each participant receives a healthy amount of meat, fruit, vegetables & other items. Distribution begins at 9:00am and goes till 11:00am or till the food has been distributed.

One last summer bash before school starts! Church Family come join us for an awesome night together "making church friends." This event is for all ages and all our KCK church family. We have something for all ages! We will have food, games, (washers tournament) and of course the pools and water to play in as well! If you have some friends who you think would enjoy, invite them! In addition, we hope to have baptisms while we are there! So if you need to be baptized, mark baptized when you register.

Come join us for an awesome neighborhood 4th of July celebration. We will have All-American burgers and dogs, games, inflatables, and more. This event is free event and open to the community. We hope to see you there! *Please do not bring or expect to shoot fireworks at this event.

New City Church Raytown is hosting a free 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Middle school division and High school division will have prizes for top teams. Elementary division will be an opportunity to compete for recognition, but no prizes. This is a co-ed tournament. 4 max players per team and one and done rules. Teams are encouraged to signup in advance as there are limited team slots available in each division. There will be family friendly activities for all ages as well as food & beverages available with a suggested donation. All donations go towards Student City and future neighborhood events.

Please register ONE time for each team and list team members full names.

Registration is not required for Elementary division players. Teams will be formed onsite.

EACH PLAYER IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A SIGNED RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM BEFORE THEY MAY PARTICIPATE. Links to the forms are included at registration and will be available at the event.

New City Kid City is hosting a Community Summer Kick Off event for families with children 0-12 years old. We will have face painting, games with prizes, free hot dog/chips/drink/popsicle, a bounce house, etc. There will be a raffle for all who attend to win a jam packed summer basket of fun!

All children must be accompanied by an adult as childcare will not be provided.

New City Church will be hosting a Birthday/Easter Egg Hunt Event on Sunday, April 10, 2021. This event is open to the public and a free event as we enjoy an egg hunt, food, and more! Come get some great prizes and candy and join us for an awesome day!

Come and grab lunch with our Kid City team while finding out more from our Kid City Director Elisha as she shares the vision, mission and values of Kid City. We would love for YOU to sign up and join us in modeling and teaching our kiddos what it looks like to trust in and live like Jesus! Again, lunch will be provided and kids are also welcome to join! Please help us out by registering so that we can plan accordingly.

We know parents need a break from time to time. Parents can enjoy a night out while kids engage in fun and safe activities at Kid City. Tonight's Theme is Love Love Love. Kids will enjoy games, crafts and dinner. $10 per kid.

Christmas is over, and all the gifts have been unwrapped...except for the ones at New City- Shawnee! Come help us as we unwrap the holidays in our building and prepare for the New Year!

Christmas is just around the corner and I would love to treat you all to lunch! We will share some Christmas cheer and do a tiny bit of business as we look forward to what the Lord has for us in 2022! See you there!

It's that time again! Time to Deck the Halls of Shawnee! If you enjoy or are talented at wrapping presents each Christmas season, this is the event for you. There will be PLENTY of opportunities for you to showcase your "gift"! (Pun intended ;)) Come enjoy some snacks and make church friends as you help us prepare our building for the Christmas season!

Move UP Sunday for All Kids and Students! What grade you are about to go into is where you will be Sunday!

With Move UP Sunday we will changing our High School time to 11 am service, there will no longer be a 5:30 service time for High school Students. Middle school (6th-8th) will be at 9:30am and High School (9th-12th) at 11:00 am service! Kid City will be offered at both 9:30 and 11:00 am services.

Come join us for free school supplies for K-12, hot dogs and chips and live music. We will also have great information for staying mentally healthy going into the new school year for parents and students. Spiderman will also be making an appearance!
