When people live in community moved by the gospel and marked by the Holy Spirit, great things happen. 

People commit to one another. They grieve together, sing together, laugh, eat, pray, and play together. And the live on mission together. 

Hearts are healed, walls come down, and outsiders come in. No competition. No pretense. No vain conceit. Just full hearts breaking bread and giving to each other freely! 

It is nothing short of amazing! During this city group we will be stepping through a book called "Life in Community" and examine exactly what all this is about and how we can live it and display within our church!

MPAC is for moms of adult children who are eager to watch Jesus work in the lives of our adult children. Using the book “Praying the Scriptures for your Adult Children” by Jodie Berndt as a discussion starter, this group will fellowship, pray and await God’s mighty work!

Wednesdays

This is a Bible study method that will help us to learn to apply 9 filters to a passage and work through word meaning origins.

In doing this, we will choose a Scripture passage from both the Torah and from one of the Gospels. We will learn to process it by hearing and obeying together what the Lord is saying. The first night, we will explain the why behind the title of the study and demonstrate an example of it. The next two weeks, we will give participants the opportunity to work through a passage with a small group facilitator.
